Description

Miles Davis is a legend in jazz and 20th - century music. In 1955, at Columbia Records executive George Avakian's request, he formed his first regular quintet. After the first - quintet members left a few years later, he assembled the second quintet in 1963 - 1964. This second group recorded and performed together until the end of the 60s. 'Sorcerer' is the third album of the Second Great Miles Davis Quintet. The lineup includes Miles Davis on trumpet, Wayne Shorter on tenor saxophone, Herbie Hancock on piano, Ron Carter on bass, and Tony Williams on drums. Recorded in May 1967, it has a darker, more mysterious sound. The album's last track, 'Nothing Like You', features vocals by Bob Dorough, adding a unique touch.

To enjoy this 'Sorcerer' vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently remove the LP from its sleeve, holding it by the edges to avoid fingerprints. Place it on the turntable and set the tonearm carefully on the start of the record. Listen to the rich, warm sounds of the Second Great Miles Davis Quintet. After use, return the LP to its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Store it in a cool, dry place, standing upright to prevent warping. Don't expose it to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures as this can damage the vinyl.
