As the head of CBE studios, he influenced a wide range of mainstream French music, from Gerard Manset’s concept albums to Claude Francois’ hit singles, Francoise Hardy’s tender ballads, and Michel Sardou’s soul - stirring tracks. His studio was a hub of experimentation, as seen in his legendary 1969 album “La Formule du Baron” and the eight LPs of production music he made for Tele Music between 1974 and 1978.
