Steven says, “My 80s albums were personal and political. I made this new one more fictional, like records from my youth. The idea was to capture that first summer rush, the thrill of endless possibilities and falling in love with the world. There are some personal and social touches, but I achieved my goal. I created fictional audio movie scenes that feel like summer, and I'm really proud of it.”
