Max Richter's ninth solo album, recorded at his peaceful new studio in rural Oxfordshire, offers a brief self - portrait of a constantly moving musician. 'In A Landscape' is about 'balancing opposites'. It combines electronic and acoustic elements, the human and natural worlds, and big life questions with quiet living pleasures. Side A features tracks like 'They Will Shade Us With Our Wings' and 'Life Study I'. Side B includes 'And Some Will Fall' and 'Life Study III'. Side C has 'Late and Soon' and 'Life Study VI'. Side D presents 'Love Song (after JE)' and 'Life Study IX'.
