Live At The Whisky A Go Go, 1968: 3CD

On July 23, 1968, Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention held an all - night event at The Whisky a Go Go. Frank Zappa recorded the whole evening for a potential album project. Over the years, Zappa released some snippets, but a full live album never came out, and the tapes were stored in the Vault for 55 years. Now, all three sets by The Mothers are being released in a 3 - CD edition. It features brand - new mixes and comes with liners by Joe Travers and Pamela Des Barres, plus an interview of Alice Cooper by Ahmet Zappa.
