Pan Amsterdam released 'The Pocket Watch'. Despite revealing his condition and true identity, he still won interest and respect from new fans and contemporaries. Open Mike Eagle became an instant fan and took him on tour last fall. They even made a single called 'No Snare'. During the tour in Texas, Iggy Pop joined Pan Amsterdam to record a track. Pan Amsterdam said that 'Texas Tea (oil)' came to mind when traveling through Texas and that many ways of living meet at local gas stations. This is the inspiration behind the song 'Mobile' that Iggy and Pan Am created.
