Later, he formed the well - loved alternative rock band Sugar and released many highly - praised solo albums. This second volume in the series spans from 1996 to 2007, starting with his 1996 self - titled solo album and ending with his 2006 collaboration with Rich Morel, BLOWOFF. This 8LP set includes 6 studio albums such as Bob Mould, The Last Dog And Pony Show, modulate. (on vinyl for the first time), Long Playing Grooves. (on vinyl for the first time), Body Of Song, and BLOWOFF (on vinyl for the first time). Each album comes with brand - new artwork by illustrator Simon Marchner and is pressed on 140g clear vinyl with unique splatter effects. Alongside the studio albums, there's a new compilation, Distortion Plus: 1996 - 2007, with bonus tracks like the demo version of 'Dog On Fire' (Theme from The Daily Show), B - sides, and other rarities, all pressed on clear vinyl. The set also includes a 28 - page companion booklet with liner notes by journalist Keith Cameron, contributions from Death Cab For Cutie’s Ben Gibbard and Best Coast’s Bethany Cosentino, lyrics, and memorabilia. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting dirt or oils on the record. Also, be careful when removing and putting back the vinyl in its sleeve to prevent scratches. Store the box set in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This will help keep the vinyl in good condition and preserve the unique splatter effects on the records. And don't forget to take a look at the 28 - page companion booklet to get more insights into the music and the artist.
