Description

This deluxe 2023 edition of 'Season’s End' is packed with bonus content. The album features a fresh stereo remix by Mike Hunter, liner notes by Rich Wilson, and brand - new artwork. Originally released in 1989, it was Marillion’s fifth studio album and the first with Steve Hogarth as the frontman after former frontman Fish left. Three singles - 'Hooks In You', 'The Uninvited Guest', and 'Easter' - charted in the UK. The album also marked a change in the band's visual identity. In 2023, the deluxe edition takes a new approach, using original artwork elements in a different form. Based on Earth, Air, Fire, and Water from the original cover, the rectangular panels are now triangular. The panels sit on an abstract background, giving a universal feel. New images in an abstract painted collage style are created for each of the ten tracks and included in the extended art books. Tracklisting: LP1: 2023 Remix Side 1: 1. The King Of Sunset Town 2. Using your 5LP vinyl box set of Season’s End (Deluxe 2023 Edition) is easy. Just use a proper turntable to play the records. Make sure the turntable is clean and in good working condition before you start. When handling the vinyl records, hold them by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface, which can cause sound distortion. Store the records in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep them in their sleeves when not in use to protect them from dust and scratches. If you notice any dust on the records, use a soft, anti - static brush to gently clean the surface before playing. The art books that come with the set are a great addition. You can flip through them while listening to the music to enjoy the new images created for each track. But be careful when handling the art books, too, to prevent any damage to the pages.
