Ginger Wildheart says, 'Renaissance Men took me back to our first album, Earth Vs The Wildhearts. We went all - out with no worry about what others thought. For 21st Century Love Songs, it reminded me of our second album, PHUQ. We got to show our creativity here. We let the songs mature and the album's theme emerge on its own. There's a subtle side to this album, and an adventurous spirit in the unorthodox song arrangements. When we break the rules and follow our instincts, I become a fan of the band. This album is sarcastic, fun, angry, proud, experimental, and rebellious all at once.'
