Merseyside's alternative rock band, The Mysterines, are thrilled to announce their new album, 'Afraid of Tomorrows'. This is the much - awaited follow - up to their critically - acclaimed Top 10 debut album, 'Reeling', set to be released on 7th June via Fiction Records. Alongside the announcement, they've shared the lead single, 'Stray', which premiered on BBC Radio 1 last night as Clara Amfo’s Hottest Record. Produced by Grammy Award - winning producer John Congleton (St. Vincent, Angel Olsen) in LA, 'Afraid of Tomorrows' delves deeper and darker into the band's psyche than its predecessor. It showcases the maturity and growth of the band members George Favager (bass), Callum Thompson (guitar), and Paul Crilly (drums). As Lia says, 'Afraid of Tomorrows is a mirror where you find you're just a formless being, made of celestial constellations of traumas, old and new, mistakes, addiction, fear, happiness, loneliness, and ultimately a desire for life and the fight to keep living.
