Africa: Limited Orange + Black Marbled Vinyl 2LP

Pharoah Sanders has one of the most unique tenor saxophone sounds in jazz. His sound, harmonically rich and full of overtones, can be as raw and rough as a saxophonist can make it. This has won him high - status among free jazz players, critics, and collectors. His 1987 album, Africa, is full of soul while also seeking a strong rhythm. Recorded with John Hicks, Curtis Lundy, and Idris Muhammad, it's an obvious tribute to his late mentor, jazz giant John Coltrane. This limited edition of Africa, with only 1000 individually numbered copies, comes on orange and black marbled vinyl. It includes bonus tracks 'Heart To Heart' and 'Duo'. The sleeve has liner notes by Kevin Whitehead and is printed on heavy cardboard with a linen laminate finish.
