This is the debut album of The Reds, Pinks & Purples. It solidified the cathartic kitchen - pop style later seen in more widely - distributed titles on Tough Love and Slumberland. Glenn Donaldson, a man with an extensive Discogs page, found his way out of a difficult period after personal tragedies and the end of his former bands. He blended musical influences from Athens, Georgia, and Bristol, England, creating something unique to his life in San Francisco's Inner Richmond district. The Tough Love re - press has an alternate cover with more of Donaldson's neighborhood photos. Only 1000 copies are available.
