aubades: Vinyl LP

After the 2019 release of the 'Matthias & Maxime' soundtrack, Mercury KX is excited to present Jean-Michel Blais's new LP, Aubades. This new album from the Montreal-based modern-classical music icon reveals a fresh side of the artist. It features some of his finest piano moments, along with grand orchestral elements and arrangements. Unlike much of his previous work in melancholic minor keys, this album has many uplifting major-key moments. In Blais's words, he aimed to break away from the trend of solo piano sounding always melancholic and explore major keys without being kitsch.

To enjoy this vinyl LP, simply place it on a compatible turntable. Set the tonearm gently on the record to start playing. When not in use, store the LP in a cool, dry place to prevent warping.
