Description

This is a limited edition vinyl LP pressed on clear blue and green splattered vinyl. After the abandoned Dessau sessions in 1992, Codeine made a comeback with an EP full of icy and effervescent tracks. The six - song 12” record lasts a brisk 25 minutes and features drummer Chris Brokaw’s final recordings with the group. It also includes noisy guitar from Bitch Magnet’s Jon Fine and a solo piano arrangement from Bastro’s David Grubbs. Remastered from the original analog tapes with painstaking detail, Barely Real is a slowcore classic that your therapist might have warned you about. As The Quietus said, it's as far from traditional rock & roll heat as a post - stellar universe is to the Big Bang.

To use this vinyl LP, first, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the record on the turntable and use the tonearm to lower the needle onto the lead - in groove. Enjoy the music! When handling the record, always hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface. After use, store the LP in its sleeve and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This will help preserve the sound quality and the unique clear blue and green splattered look of the vinyl for a long time.
