Description

In response to the warm reception of their reformation news earlier this year, The Boo Radleys are excited to announce the release of their first all - new 11 - track album, Keep On With Falling, on their own Boostr label on Fri 11 March 2022. This release coincides with the announcement of their seventh album and their upcoming UK Tour, which starts in Bristol on Sun 24 October 2021. Alongside this, the band also drops a new, string - filled single, I’ve Had Enough I’m Out. The Boo Radleys, who rose from a cult shoegaze band to the forefront of British guitar pop in a decade, kicked off their new chapter in July by unexpectedly releasing the single A Full Syringe And Memories Of You, followed by a four - track EP of the same name. The album retains the band's bright melodies and effusive choruses from their 90s glory days, but also shows new, less sunny lyrical themes. I’ve Had Enough I’m Out, taken straight from Keep On With Falling, sees the band shift their focus to religion, following the summer EP's themes of euthanasia, alcohol abuse, and death. Singer and guitarist Simon ‘Sice’ Rowbottom says the single is a statement against religion, using Catholicism as an example, with its harmonious and melodic style harking back to their 80s alternative influences. Keep On With Falling features 11 songs developed by the three - piece band of original members Sice, Tim Brown, and Rob Cieka. After recording six of their seven previous albums as a Creation Records band in expensive studios, they seized the chance to try modern DIY recording. Through file sharing and democratic production, they created an album where songwriting ideas shine, free from ego and excess. Bassist and vocalist Tim Brown says the freedom of sharing files and feedback allowed them to quickly make music that showcases the beauty of the songs, with no limitations on structure, instruments, or sounds.

To enjoy this vinyl LP, you'll need a record player. First, carefully take the vinyl out of its sleeve to avoid scratches. Place it gently on the turntable and start the player. Let the needle rest on the edge of the record to start the music. When you're done listening, lift the needle gently and turn off the player. Then, put the vinyl back in its sleeve to protect it from dust and damage. Store the LP in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to keep it in good condition. Avoid touching the playing surface of the vinyl with your bare hands as the oils from your skin can affect the sound quality. If the record gets dirty, you can use a record cleaning brush to gently clean it.
