Chewing The Fat ushers in a new era for Franc Moody. It's a deep dive into the duo's creative corners, breaking the rules and reinventing the Franc Moody sound to reveal a more mature side than before. Partially recorded at the LA 64 Sounds Studio and Damon Albarn’s Studio 13 in West London, the album's sound is strongly influenced by Albarn’s synth collection, especially some Russian models, and live shows of Massive Attack and LCD Soundsystem. This LP offers less disco but has a sense of grunge, grit, and attitude.
