Norwegian talent Jenny Hval, a musician and novelist, reveals her new album 'Classic Objects' on 11 March. This album is a vivid map of various places. It includes past spots like the old, empty Melbourne pubs where Hval's band once played, public areas she missed during lockdown, imagined future locations, and dreamy, impossible places where art and the surreal meet. 'Classic Objects' blends the celestial with the ordinary, presenting Hval's take on a pop album. Each song has a clear verse - chorus structure, with complex and engaging melodies throughout, and a soaring, clear feeling in the choruses.
