Combat Rock / The People’s Hall: Limited Edition Vinyl 3LP

Originally launched in May 1982, 'Combat Rock' is the last album by The Clash with Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon, and Topper Headon. It features two of the band's most famous hits, 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go' and 'Rock The Casbah'. Now reissued as a 180gm 3LP special edition, it comes with 12 extra tracks compiled by The Clash. After their key 17 - show stint at New York’s Bond’s Casino in 1981, the band rehearsed and recorded at The People’s Hall in the squatting Republic of Frestonia near Latimer Road in London. Then they toured East and Southeast Asia, where Pennie Smith captured the album sleeve image in Thailand. 'The People’s Hall' tracks cover the period from their last single 'Radio Clash' to the release of 'Combat Rock', including unheard, rare, and early versions of tracks. It also includes rare Pennie Smith images and an essay about the history of Frestonia by Tom Vague.

Using this vinyl is easy. Just place it on your record player, gently drop the needle onto the groove, and enjoy the music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid leaving fingerprints or dirt on it. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. When not in use, keep it in its protective sleeve to avoid scratches. If you notice any dust on the vinyl, use a soft, anti - static brush to gently remove it before playing.
