Dance music legend Sasha is back at Night Time Stories with his new project 'Da Vinci Genius', released on November 29th. His 2016 release 'Scene Delete' on the same label was a unique take on Sasha's music, like an imaginary movie soundtrack. 'Da Vinci Genius' is an immersive show that premiered in Berlin in 2021 and later moved to Amsterdam. It features the work inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci. Sasha used his electronic music production experience and love for movies to create this score, with help from 'Scene Delete' veterans. He aimed to balance classical music and electronic sounds, taking inspiration from scores like 'Barry Lyndon', 'Interstellar', and 'Succession'. The compositions like 'Mosaic', 'Equality', and 'Clouds' offer a dream - like journey with soft melodies and emotive timbres. Only in tracks like 'Super Hero (with Sentre)' and 'Into The Metaverse' does Sasha revert to his more familiar sound. With 'Da Vinci Genius', Sasha seems to be entering a new phase of his career, trying to capture the classical mood with an electronic backdrop.
