Dark Light: Limited Crystal Clear Vinyl LP

Recorded in 2012, Dark Light is the band's first new material collection since the tragic passing of founder Larry Cassidy in 2010. It marks a return to the smooth electro and synth - pop styles first explored on their 1984 classic album From the Hip. Co - vocalists Beth and Jo Cassidy add to the album's charm, and iconic artist/designer Peter Saville created a sublime cover image. Much of Dark Light was made in collaboration with remixer Derek Miller (Outernationale). It features new versions of single tracks Colour Movement Sex & Violence and Inner Drive. A future pop classic, My Outrage, was also released as a single on Record Store Day. The Guardian in 2014 called it a revelation, noting how the band has evolved from doomy post - punks to a new form of club - pop. Now, for the first time, it's available on vinyl. FBN 145 is a limited release of just 500 copies on crystal clear vinyl, and the digital copy comes with several bonus tracks. Tracklist: Side A includes World’s End, My Outrage, Pitch Black Box, Love Cuts, and Colour Movement Sex & Violence. Side B features Inner Drive, 78, Letter to America, Memento, and Early Exit.

To use this Dark Light vinyl record, simply place it on a record player turntable. Make sure the turntable is clean and properly calibrated. Lower the tonearm gently onto the record at the start of the groove. You can enjoy the music track by track. When handling the vinyl, always hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints on the playing surface. After each use, return the record to its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place, standing upright on a shelf. Don't stack heavy items on top of it.
