The Boo Radleys' new single 'Seeker' ushers in their eighth album, 'Eight'. Last year's album explored each member's isolated ideas. In contrast, 'Eight' features songs recorded intentionally to be on an album, with greater integration making it hard to tell song origins. The album - opener 'Seeker' is about relying on trusted ones for life's ups and downs. Starting as a three - chord synth pop tune, it evolved into a brassy bop with help from trumpeter Nick Etwell. Louis Smith added electric guitar flourishes, and Sice's backing vocals drive the song to a joyful end.
