Kerrang noted, 'If you crave substance in music, The Boxer Rebellion will soothe your soul.' Both The Fly magazine and MusicOMH labeled the album 'flawless.' Unfortunately, the album's label folded, derailing what could have been a major campaign. The LP includes tracks like 'Watermelon,' 'We Have This Place Surrounded,' and 'The Absentee.'
