Description

Songs crafted in the shadow of terror and loss, yet crackling with defiance. Fear Fear is an album made for stirring up emotions and dancing, a celebration of heart and soul for the present and future. It delves into the contrasts of life and death, acceptance and isolation, environment and humanity, hope and despair, and the real and digital worlds. This second album from Working Men’s Club is a remarkable and unique achievement, with a rigorous and complete vision. Their self - titled debut album in summer 2020 was Syd Minsky - Sargeant's way of processing his teenage life in Todmorden. At 16, he wrote some of those songs. Now 20, he left the Valley. 'The first album was mostly a personal record lyrically, this one blurs the line between personal and a third - person view of what was happening.' Fear Fear documents the past two years, filled with both bleakness and hope. Syd says, 'I love the contrast of happy, uplifting music with really dark lyrics. It's not a minimalist record, especially compared to the first one, because there's so much more to say.' Fear Fear makes the chaotic seem refined and the dreadful seem magical. As Syd puts it, 'We aimed to make the best - sounding album possible.' Produced by Ross Orton (Arctic Monkeys, MIA, Tricky) and recorded at his Sheffield studio.

To enjoy your Fear Fear limited edition white vinyl LP, simply place it on a compatible turntable. Gently lower the needle onto the groove and let the music play. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid leaving fingerprints or dirt on the record. After each use, carefully place the LP back in its sleeve to protect it from scratches. Store it in a cool, dry place, standing upright to prevent warping. If the record gets dirty, you can use a vinyl cleaning brush to gently remove dust. Don't expose the vinyl to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures as it can damage the quality of the sound and the physical condition of the record.
