The 1969 debut album was amazing, but nothing could ready you for the brutal masterpiece 'Funhouse'. It's neither pretty nor pure, and it thrives on powerful chemistry. Iggy screams, shouts, yelps, and grunts over simple music with simple lyrics, and sometimes no music at all in 'La Blues'. Other great tracks include 'Down On The Street', the excellent opener, '1970', a perfect proto - punk anthem, and the title track, one of the rawest and most visceral songs ever. This is one of the best albums ever. If you have a passion for music, buy a copy and you won't regret it.
