She's collaborated with Holly Herndon, Colin Self, Kat Frankie, and B O D I E S, and was part of the Italian synthwave duo Ostia. Her prior releases, ‘The Sticky Fingers’ and ‘Family Of Things’, got rave reviews and became cult hits. This album is a bit of a mystery—it's not exactly a break - up album, yet it has the vibes of one. It's Albertine holding onto the warmth of a love that's currently homeless. The album is heavier and more moody than The Sticky Fingers. She experimented with various singing styles, sometimes getting up close to the mic and other times belting it out.
