Description

After featuring on Ike Quebec's Blue Note albums, Hammond B3 organist Freddie Roach crafted his own soul jazz masterpieces for the label. The 1963 standout album Good Move is a gem, with Blue Mitchell on trumpet, Hank Mobley on tenor saxophone, Eddie Wright on guitar, and Clarence Johnston on drums. This stereo Tone Poet Vinyl Edition, produced by Joe Harley, is mastered by Kevin Gray from original analog master tapes. Pressed on 180g vinyl at RTI and housed in a deluxe gatefold tip - on jacket, it offers an authentic listening experience. Tracks include 'It Ain't Necessarily So', 'When Malindy Sings' on Side A, and 'On Our Way Up', 'T'Ain't What You Do' on Side B. Freddie Roach plays the organ, while Blue Mitchell, Hank Mobley, Eddie Wright, and Clarence Johnston bring their unique talents to the album.

To use this vinyl LP, first, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the LP on the turntable, align the needle carefully at the start of the desired track. When not in use, store the LP in its deluxe gatefold tip - on jacket to protect it from dust and scratches. Avoid touching the playing surface of the vinyl with your fingers to prevent dirt and oil transfer. Keep the LP in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain its quality over time.
