Headful of Sugar: Transparent Orange Vinyl LP

New York's Sunflower Bean, featuring vocalist and bassist Julia Cumming, guitarist and vocalist Nick Kivlen, and drummer Olive Faber, are set to release their much - awaited third album, Headful of Sugar, on May 6 via Lucky Number. This album is a psychedelic rush, capturing the highs and lows of contemporary American life. It's about outsiders who aren't willing to be beaten by the modern world. Interpersonal relationships in the album offer relief from the daily flood of cheap entertainment. If their 2018 album Twentytwo in Blue was an ode to youth, Headful of Sugar takes listeners into a new, riskier but less stifling world. Bassist Julia Cumming challenges us to create on our own terms. Headful of Sugar was produced and mixed by UMO’s Jacob Portrait, co - engineered by Olive Faber and Portrait, and recorded at Electric Lady and Sunflower Bean Studios.
