Description

Released in early 1966 on the Impulse! Records label, this amazing collection combines new compositions with re - worked tunes from John Lee Hooker's previous recordings. It even includes a cover of Barrett Strong's 1959 Motown hit 'Money (That's What I Want).' With Panama Francis on drums, Milt Hinton on bass, and Barry Galbraith on second guitar, it offers some of the finest John Lee Hooker music with a band. The Verve’s Acoustic Sounds Series presents transfers from analog tapes and remastered 180 - gram vinyl in deluxe gatefold packaging. Side 1 features tracks like 'Shake It Baby', 'Country Boy', 'Bottle Up And Go', and 'You're Wrong'. Side 2 includes 'Sugar Mama', 'Decoration Day', 'Money', and 'It Serve You Right To Suffer'.

This is a great vinyl album of John Lee Hooker's music. To use it, simply place the vinyl on your record player, gently drop the needle on the start of the track you want to play, and enjoy the music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid leaving fingerprints or dirt on it. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep it in its deluxe gatefold packaging when not in use to protect it from scratches and dust. Also, be careful when moving the record player's needle to prevent damage to the vinyl.
