To mark the 40th anniversary of Talk Talk's legendary 'It’s My Life' album, it has been half-speed mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios, under the supervision of Talk Talk drummer Lee Harris and Charlie Hollis, Mark Hollis's son. This process gives the album an enhanced depth of sound. First released in February 1984, 'It’s My Life' is the band's second album, following their 1982 debut 'The Party’s Over'. The debut initially had moderate success in the UK, reaching number 21 in the UK chart and achieving some global recognition. When writing and recording 'It’s My Life', the band transitioned from a four-piece to a three-piece as Simon Brenner left. This album quickly found significant international success. 'Such A Shame', the first single, was a top 10 hit across Europe, and the title track entered the global Top 40s, including in the US. Here's the tracklist: Side 1 features 'Dum Dum Girl', 'Such a Shame', 'Renee', and 'It’s My Life'. Side 2 includes 'Tomorrow Started', 'The Last Time', 'Call in the Night Boy', 'Does Caroline Know', and 'It’s You'.

Using your 'It’s My Life' 40th Anniversary Vinyl LP is easy. First, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the vinyl on the turntable, align the spindle with the center hole. Then, lower the tonearm onto the record at the start of the desired track. Enjoy the rich, warm sound of this anniversary edition. When handling the vinyl, always hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. After each use, return the vinyl to its sleeve to protect it from dust and damage. Store the vinyl upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. If the vinyl gets dirty, you can use a record cleaning brush to gently remove dust particles. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they can damage the vinyl surface.
