This vinyl release, previously part of the TG Berlin box set and now available on vinyl for the first time, captures an unforgettable New Year’s Eve show. It was part of a specially curated live - event series in 2005 and 2006 at the Volksbühne. The setlist included a preview of five tracks from their 27 - year - in - the - making album, Part Two: The Endless Not, released years later. Fans also got to enjoy TG’s first encore in 25/26 years, featuring iconic songs like ‘Convincing People’, ‘Slug Bait’, and ‘Hamburger Lady’. The performance also had the released track ‘Splitting Sky’ and more. Formed in 1975, Throbbing Gristle - Chris Carter, Cosey Fanni Tutti, Genesis Breyer P - Orridge (1950 - 2020) and Peter 'Sleazy' Christopherson (1955 - 2010), fulfilled punk’s unmet promise to explore extreme culture to undermine control systems.
