L’Aventura combines the Brazilian heat with French romanticism. It tells the story of Sebastien Tellier’s fantasy childhood in Brazil, arranged by local cult figure Arthur Verocai. It's a wild blend of love, dreams, sun, and landscapes. As Sebastien Tellier said, 'For this album I wanted to rewrite my childhood. I chose to place this adventure in Brazil, land of splendour and joy, with an eternal childish soul.' Recorded between Paris and Rio de Janeiro in 2013, these adventures took him to the studios of Jean - Michel Jarre, Bernard Estardy, and Philippe Zdar (Cassius/Phoenix). Zdar, known for making French music sound great internationally, elevates the ten tracks of this album, balancing elegance and the maestro's touch with the immediacy of a popular song. This sixth opus, composed and written by Sebastien Tellier, has all lyrics in French for the first time in his career. Influenced by Gainsbourg, Christophe, and Lucio Battisti, it's a record of shores in an everlasting restart. It's a naive art with an open - hearted and childish vision of creation, similar to his classic Sexuality (2008). Tracklist: A1. Love; A2. Sous les rayons du soleil; A3. Ma calypso; B1. L’adulte; B2. Ricky l’adolescent; B3. Aller vers le soleil; C1. Comment revoir Oursinet; D1. L'amour carnaval; D2. Ambiance Rio; D3. L’enfant vert.
