Lee Scratch Perry Presents Candy McKenzie: Coloured Vinyl LP

The record in your hands tells a story of dreams. Candy McKenzie, a young singer from North West London, had a tough life before flying to Jamaica for a dream she hardly grasped. She was a young talent in need of an experienced producer, and who could be better than Lee Perry? He'd made international hits for Susan Cadogan and did amazing work with Max Romeo, Junior Murvin and the Heptones. All the magic of Perry's classic works is in this album. Sadly, Candy passed away in 2003. It might seem she was an unfulfilled talent, but she and Lee Perry left us this beautiful, hidden album gem.

To enjoy this coloured vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the vinyl on the turntable and use the tonearm to drop the needle at the start of the record. Play it at the correct speed, usually 33 1/3 RPM for an LP. When you're done, lift the tonearm carefully and turn off the record player. Store the vinyl in its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches.
