Description

Live Through This was first released by DGC Records on April 12, 1994. It's Hole's sole album featuring bassist Kristen Pfaff before her passing in June 1994. Recorded in October 1993, this album shifted from the band's rough hardcore style to more polished melodies and song structures. Produced by Sean Slade and Paul Q. Kolderie, and mixed by Scott Litt and J Mascis. The lyrics and packaging show Love's focus on beauty, with repeated themes of milk, motherhood, anti - elitism, and violence against women. The album title comes from a quote in Gone with the Wind. Upon release, it got almost unanimous critical praise, reached top - 100 chart positions in seven countries, and went multi - platinum. It's a contemporary classic and is on Rolling Stone's '500 Greatest Albums of All Time' list. Side A includes tracks like Violet, Miss World, etc. Side B has Credit In The Straight World, Softer, Softest, and more.

To use this vinyl LP, first make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the vinyl on the turntable and set the tonearm on the starting groove. Enjoy the music! When handling the vinyl, always hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. After use, put it back in its sleeve carefully to protect it from dust. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place, standing upright to prevent warping. If the vinyl gets dirty, you can use a record cleaning brush to gently remove the dust. Don't expose the vinyl to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, as this can damage the sound quality.
