Microclimates EP: 12” Eco Vinyl LP

This brand - new EP from the Cornish improv noise, post - rock, and shoegaze trio is their first release since their highly - acclaimed second album Sleepover in late 2021. It features two long tracks with vocals from Lorena Quintanilla of Lorelle Meets The Obsolete, a bandmate from Sonic Cathedral. Matt Ashdown, guitarist of Mildred Maude, says one recording session produced tracks with a different energy as they had less of a motif - based approach, making them scenic. They saw this as the perfect chance for a collaboration. After playing shows together, they really connected with Lorelle Meets the Obsolete. Lorena loves collaborations and feels honored to be part of this EP. For 'Half The Sky', the vocal melody and lyrics came easily. But for 'Shifting', she was careful not to mess up the beautiful song. Matt concludes that Lorena understands their music well and has given both tracks a new life. Tracklist: Side A - 1. To enjoy this Microclimates EP vinyl, first, you'll need a record player. Make sure the record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the 12 - inch vinyl on the turntable and use the tonearm to drop the needle at the start of the desired track. Listen at a comfortable volume. When you're done, carefully lift the tonearm and remove the vinyl from the turntable. Store the vinyl in its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Avoid touching the playing surface of the vinyl with your fingers as the oils can damage it. If the vinyl gets dirty, use a record cleaning brush to gently remove the dust.
