‘The Hawk Is Howling’ is Mogwai's sixth studio album. Recorded with Andy Miller at Chemikal Underground and mixed by Gareth Jones at Castle Of Doom, it took the band back to a fully instrumental soundscape. This was the first time they worked with Andy Miller since their debut ‘Young Team’. The album includes the single ‘Batcat’. To mark its 15th anniversary, it'll be released as a newly remastered 2LP white vinyl on September 22nd, exactly 15 years after its original launch. Remastered by Frank Arkwright at Abbey Road Studios. Alongside this special release, limited coloured vinyl represses of ‘Rock Action’, ‘Happy Songs For Happy People’, and ‘Mr. Beast’ will also come out on September 22nd. ‘Rock Action’ on transparent red vinyl, ‘Happy Songs For Happy People’ on transparent green vinyl, and ‘Mr. Beast’ on crystal - clear vinyl. Tracks: LP1 features Auto Rock, Glasgow Mega - Snake, etc. LP2 includes Folk Death 95, I Chose Horses, etc.

To use your Mr. Beast limited crystal clear 2LP vinyl record, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the record on the turntable, center it, and then drop the needle onto the starting groove. Listen to the amazing music! When handling the record, always hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints on the playing surface. After use, carefully return the record to its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Store the record vertically in a cool, dry place to prevent warping. If the record gets dirty, you can use a soft, anti - static record brush to gently clean the grooves.
