Description

Waxwork Records is thrilled to unveil the new double LP soundtrack of the 1981 horror classic, MY BLOODY VALENTINE. Hailed by director Quentin Tarantino as his all - time favorite slasher movie, it follows a small mining town's residents who become victims of a vengeful maniac on Valentine’s Day. Waxwork worked directly with composer Paul Zaza (known for Prom Night, Curtains, Porky’s) and used the original master tapes to source the complete, spine - chilling score. This is the very first release of the score in any format. Paul Zaza's foreboding score combines minimal synth and orchestral compositions with bluegrass and country soundtrack cues. Expertly mastered by Thomas DiMuzio at Gench Mastering, the over - one - hour complete score is spread across two 150 - gram blood - red and white hand - pour colored records.

To use this vinyl soundtrack, simply place the record on your turntable, gently drop the needle onto the groove, and enjoy the spooky music. When handling the records, make sure your hands are clean to avoid leaving fingerprints or dirt on the surface. Store the records in a cool, dry place, standing upright in their sleeves to prevent warping. If the records get dirty, use a vinyl record cleaning brush to gently remove dust and debris. Avoid exposing the records to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures as this can damage the vinyl.
