At 13, Johnny got a record player and a box of R&B, Doo - Wop, and Soul 45s, which he studied intently to develop his unique voice. After meeting the legendary Dimas Garza, his career took off. He sang with stars like Eugene Pitt and Archie Bell, catching the eye of Timmion Records. Backed by the amazing Cold Diamond & Mink, two hit singles were made, leading to this full - length album with 11 original songs by Benavidez.
