This collection of 11 songs, featuring the recent single 'Coast', is the first full - length album under her own name from the Dayton, Ohio resident. Although it's her debut album, she's no stranger to going solo, having self - released a five - part, ten - song seven - inch vinyl series in 2013. The album was refined over several years. The oldest songs, 'Are You Mine' and 'Wish I Was', were written and originally recorded in 2011 after she left the Pixies' 'Lost Cities Tour' and moved to Los Angeles. The last recording took place in November 2022 with Steve Albini at his Chicago studio. She collaborated with various musicians, from Breeders past and present to Raymond McGinley, Jack Lawrence, and Savages' members. Mixed by Marta Salogni and mastered by Heba Kadry, each song has a story, from Florida vacations to her mother's dementia.
