Description

NOW Music is thrilled to unveil the sixth installment of our vinyl compilation series, NOW That’s What I Call 80s Dancefloor. This edition showcases an outstanding collection of tracks representing the key genres of 80s dance music. With 30 tracks spread across 2 LPs, one pressed on blue vinyl and the other on clear vinyl, it offers the best in synth dance - pop. The synth dominated pop music in the early 80s, and New Order's 'Blue Monday' sets the tone for this collection. Other iconic tracks follow, like Eurythmics' 'Sexcrime (Nineteen Eighty Four)' and Propaganda's 'Duel'. Hits from Animotion, Paul Hardcastle, Yello, and Jan Hammer keep the energy high. The second side features synth - pop royalty like Pet Shop Boys and the hit collaboration by Philip Oakey and Giorgio Moroder. Tracks from Scritti Politti, Kon Kan, and Falco add to the 80s charm. LP2 starts with Frankie Goes To Hollywood's 'Two Tribes' and continues with tracks from Dead Or Alive, Soft Cell, and more. The final side has huge hits like Harold Faltermeyer's 'Axel F' and club essentials. This fantastic collection concludes with Joe Jackson's 'Steppin’ Out'. It's set to release on December 6th, 2024!

Using this vinyl compilation is easy. Just place it on your record player, gently drop the needle on the groove, and enjoy the amazing 80s synth dance - pop music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid leaving fingerprints or dirt on the surface. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat to prevent warping. Also, use a proper record sleeve to protect it from scratches. When not in use, keep it upright on a shelf to maintain its shape. This way, you can keep enjoying this great collection of 80s music for a long time.
