Out Of Season: Vinyl LP

Out of Season is an extraordinary musical gem. It's a collaboration between Portishead's Beth Gibbons and former Talk Talk bassist Paul Webb, who goes by the pseudonym Rustin Man. Adrian Utley, another Portishead band - mate, also contributes to this album. Departing from their previous bands' styles, it blends folk and jazz with a modern touch, drawing influences from music legends like Billie Holiday, Nick Drake, Burt Bacharach, and the tragic allure of Dusty Springfield. The album's atmospheric tracks have soundtrack - worthy qualities. For example, the track Mysteries is featured in the French movie 'Les Poupées Russes' and Wim Wenders’ 'Palermo Shooting'. Beth is set to release a new album with The Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra on March 22nd, and Rustin’ Man (Paul Webb) released a well - received new album in February 2019. Originally released in October 2002, this album has been out of print on LP for years. Now, it's back, remastered at Abbey Road with original artwork and pressed on heavyweight vinyl.
