“Return of the Giant Slits” is the second studio album from the English punk band The Slits, released in October 1981 by CBS Records. This album moved away from their early punk style, adopting a more experimental sound influenced by afro - pop, dub, and world music. Produced by Dennis Bovell, Dick O’Dell, and The Slits themselves, it initially got mixed reviews as some listeners found its experimental nature tough to digest.
