Royce Hall, 1971: Vinyl LP

Neil Young continues to share rare live recordings from his vast archives through the Neil Young Official Bootleg Series (OBS), which started last fall with Carnegie Hall 1970 (OBS1). On May 6th, he'll release three more installments. Royce Hall, 1971, recorded on January 30 at UCLA, is a solo acoustic performance. Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, 1971, also solo acoustic, was Young's last US show in his 1971 solo tour. Citizen Kane Jr. Blues (Live at The Bottom Line) from 1974 in New York is a surprise set. For concerts with analog tapes in Young's archive, like Royce Hall 1971 and Dorothy Chandler Pavilion 1971, they've been properly mixed from the original analog masters, offering much higher - quality recordings. For those without tapes, the original bootlegs have been restored and remastered for the best audio. The original bootleg artwork is replicated, giving each release a collector's feel and evoking the era of creation. For example, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, 1971 album cover has a worn and faded LP ring.
