‘Sad Happy’ is an album of our era, with two distinct sides. The first half has sad tracks, and the second half features happy ones. Released on March 13th by Prolifica Inc / [PIAS], it's available on CD, standard single LP, and a limited - edition gold 2LP where the album is physically split into Sad and Happy LPs. The lead single ‘Jacqueline’ is out now. It has an infectious Soweto - flavoured groove and is a bright, life - affirming pop song by Kieran Shudall, one of Britain's most productive young songwriters. With its catchy chorus 'Good times are coming around the bend', it's instantly recognizable and a sonic step forward for Circa Waves. Kieran Shudall fully wrote and produced ‘Sad Happy’, and it was mixed by Grammy winners Dan Grech - Marguerat and Matt Wiggins. The band's writing prowess and live - playing passion are solidifying their reputation as one of the UK's most dynamic bands.
