In this one - person glam - rock and punk pantomime, she brings humor and heartbreak, even flaunting a single, acrylic - nail - adorned middle finger. The pop hints on the 2021 acclaimed Homecoming LP now explode into firework - like displays, telling tales of missed connections, anxiety, controlling relationships, and hard - won peace. Despite the darkness, Du Blonde chooses fun. After years of working with record labels and industry producers, Du Blonde self - produced her third album. This newfound freedom in production and engineering opened a catchier, more colorful, and exciting sonic world for her. Sniff More Gritty is almost entirely performed (except drums), engineered, and produced by Du Blonde.
