Soft Echoes: Vinyl 2LP

Sharada Shashidhar, a Los Angeles - based vocalist, composer, and producer, blends jazz and Indian classical music with her soulful voice. This influences her songwriting and productions, resulting in a new beat - orientated spiritual jazz with elaborate harmonies and vocal creativity. Sharada has performed widely in the US and EU at festivals like Le Guess Who Festival and venues such as Badehaus Berlin and Zebulon. She's collaborated with artists like Carlos Niño, Pan Afrikan People’s Arkestra, and Zeroh. After graduating from the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in NYC, she released her debut EP, Rahu, in 2020. Her upcoming album, Soft Echoes, will be out in Fall 2024 on Leaving Records. Soft Echoes is Shashidhar's first work as a bandleader, despite her rich experience in LA's experimental jazz scene.
