Sour Soul: Vinyl LP

Sour Soul is an amazing collaborative album. It's from the Toronto jazz/hip - hop band BADBADNOTGOOD and Staten Island rap star Ghostface Killah. Taking inspiration from 60s and 70s music, with a focus on the recording techniques and production of that era and using live instrumentation instead of sampling, BBNG and producer Frank Dukes crafted a dramatic, cinematic musical backdrop for Ghostface's vivid stories. This album also features appearances from MF DOOM, Elzhi (Slum Village / J Dilla), Danny Brown, and new rapper Tree (Project mayhem).
