In 2018, Garcia appeared on five of the nine tracks of We Out Here, a Brownswood project for London's vibrant jazz scene. She won multiple awards, including Jazz FM Breakthrough Act of the Year in 2018 and Jazz FM UK Jazz Act of the Year in 2019. Source is a deeply personal album where Garcia explores her identity, family histories, grief, afro - diasporic connections, and collectivism.
