Succour (Redux): Vinyl LP

Seefeel’s second studio album and their debut for Warp. This expanded 3LP vinyl edition is a must - have. It's the first time available on vinyl since the original release and comes with an extra LP of bonus material, mastered from original DAT transfers by Stefan Betke (aka Pole). In 1993, Seefeel's debut album Quique blended shoegaze and ambient dub. By 1995, their sound evolved. Influenced by Aphex Twin, tracks like “Fracture” and “Vex” have rolling, distorted drums straight from his style. The beatless tracks “Meol” and “Utreat” evoke the ethereal feel of Selected Ambient Works Vol. II. The album's textures and titles often recall Autechre’s Amber, yet Seefeel retains post - rock roots. Despite echoes of other works like “Gatha” sounding like Massive Attack underwater, it's a unique album (#30 in the Pitchfork list of 50 greatest IDM albums). With driving electronic percussion, dubby basslines, and paranoid guitar melodies, Sarah's voice adds an otherworldly touch in the lunar atmospheres of 'Succour', as noted by Resident Advisor.

Using your Seefeel's Succour (Redux) vinyl LP is easy. Just place it on a properly functioning turntable, gently lower the tonearm onto the record, and enjoy the music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid leaving fingerprints or dirt on the surface. Store the LP in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat to prevent warping. After each use, return the LP to its sleeve carefully to protect it from scratches. If the record gets dirty, use a soft, anti - static record brush to gently clean the grooves. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials on the vinyl.
