Interlinked: CD

Australian composer and instrumentalist Luke Howard presents his new album 'Interlinked'. This ballet was scored by Howard and choreographed by contemporary dancer Juliano Nunes. Commissioned by the Birmingham Royal Ballet for the 2022 Commonwealth Games, it was performed at the Glastonbury Festival's Pyramid Stage this year. Howard, known for breaking classical - dance boundaries, explores Commonwealth values and challenges ballet's gender norms in this work. The album features a newly - commissioned orchestral score, lighting by Tom Visser, and choreography inspired by unity. Tracks include 'Conception', five parts of 'Interlinked', and 'Solidarity ft. Lara Somogyi & Shards'.
