Description
The Sultans Of Ping, an Irish band formed in 1988, took their name from a play on the 1978 Dire Straits song “Sultans of Swing”. After multiple lineup changes, they caught the eye of the Irish and UK music press when “Where’s Me Jumper” dropped in January 1992. After releasing several independent singles, they signed with Epic Records through a deal by Rhythm King Records’ Martin Heath. In 1993, they released their debut album, Casual Sex In The Cineplex, which hit the 23rd spot in the UK Albums Chart. The album features hit singles “Where’s Me Jumper”, “Stupid Kid”, and “You Talk Too Much”, reaching No. 8, No. 11, and No. 4 respectively in the Irish Singles Chart. To use this vinyl LP, you'll need a record player. Just place the vinyl gently on the turntable, lower the tonearm onto the starting groove of the record. Then, sit back and enjoy the music. When handling the vinyl, always hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches on the playing surface. After each use, return the vinyl to its sleeve to protect it from dust and damage. Store the record in a cool, dry place, standing upright to prevent warping. If the vinyl gets dirty, you can use a record cleaning brush to gently remove dust. For more stubborn dirt, use a proper vinyl cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth. But be gentle to not damage the grooves.
